Vancouver Riot: Embrace Whodunit *

CBC.ca online is on the hunt for a couple who were photographed kissing romantically among Wednesday night's disgraceful riot that followed the hockey game in downtown Vancouver.

The photo (as seen below), gives the impression of being art students who saw opportunity among the chaotic backdrop.

{from CBC.ca} -- "Amid the shocking images that emerged from Vancouver on Wednesday night – cars engulfed in flames, masked looters, bloody fists and broken storefronts – one image in particular stood out showing none of those things.

At first the sense was the photo was actually staged, or even art. Or was it an homage to 'The Kiss,' an art show staged at New York's Guggenheim Museum in 2010?"

Whodunit?

The "riot kissers" have been identified. Read all about it, HERE, and HERE. Mirth was hoping the story behind the photo would have been artistically aroused (meaning: an art fling by local students, rather than what-looks-like a staged act by social opportunists), ah well...

Either way, the photo is well-timed and well-shot. It is still artistic, and he is still kissing her.
